Aiming to extend access to a full range of quality health services to more Filipinos, the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD) along with the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), showcased three studies during the Talakayang HeaRT Beat press conference on 29 May 2024 in Quezon City.

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) recently convened in Alabang, Muntinlupa City to address national concerns, with particular emphasis on water security challenges experienced by both countries. The DOST-JST Workshop on water security brought together experts from both countries to exchange insights and experiences on advancing water security through research and S&T initiatives.

The Department of Science and Technology – Central Office (DOST-CO), through its Gender and Development Unit (GADU), conducted the first Gender Sensitivity Training (GST) for 2024 at DOST Executive Lounge, DOST Compound, General Santos Avenue, Bicutan, Taguig City on April 24, 2024.
