Experience

  • None required but preferably with one (1) year work experience related to broadcast/video production.

  • Preferably with at least eight (8) hours of training relevant on video editing

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages the overall editing of assigned DOSTv broadcast materials;
  • Set-up and execute video transitions and special effects such as fades, dissolves, cuts, keys and supers, to manipulate pictures as necessary;
  • Conceptualizes, prepares and collates graphic design materials for online posting in all social media pages of DOSTv;
  • Checks and gathers relevant S&T materials for posting;
  • Consolidate and archive all video materials to be used by DOSTv;
  • Schedules posting for social media content;
  • Posts content in all online platforms of DOSTv, repsonds to queries, monitor and reports all online data analytics of DOSTv
  • Act as field cameraman on the event that DOSTv needs to cover special event outside the studio;
  • Conduct field work within the Philippines whenever necessary; and
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develops concepts and proposals for new relevant S&T content and/or program
  • Pitches stories / topics and conducts data-gathering for the existing DOSTv programs
  • Submits production schedule for approval
  • Coordinates with involved agencies and offices
  • Reviews travel and administrative documents for the production shoot
  • Prepares and submit the production shoot guide
  • Oversees the flow of the production shoot
  • Ensures that all dumped video and audio materials are properly transferred
  • Prepares the script of the content as guide for editing
  • Supervises the editing of the broadcast material
  • Submits monitoring of the content
  • Handles preview and approval of the assigned program or segment
  • Writes articles/press releases about DOSTv features, programs, activities etc.
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
