ARINGAY, LA UNION – The backbone of the economy rests on the communities when they become productive, secured and enabled. Realizing the need to make our communities, down to the barangay units, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), for the past years, has pushed the Community Empowerment through Science and Technology (CEST program in the regions to make the citizenry self-reliant, capable of contributing to the development of their communities.

Sa layong mapalakas ang sistema ng pamamahala at pagsisiguro sa food safety sa komunidad, sumailalim ang Kikay’s Carenderia ng Batangas City sa isang seminar patungkol sa Basic Food Hygiene (BFH) at Food Safety Hazards (FSH) na isinagawa ng Department of Science and Technology (DOST)-Batangas sa naturang tindahan sa Batangas City noong nakaraang ika-9 hanggang 10 ng Pebrero 2023.

Labinlimang (15) empleyado ng LGU-Tampilisan sa Zamboanga del Norte ang tagumpay na nakatapos ng hands-on training para sa paggamit, operasyon, at pagmentena ng bioreactor at plastic densifier technologies.
