DAVAO DE ORO – True to its goal in promoting and supporting Grassroots Innovations, the Department of Science and Technology XI (DOST-XI), in collaboration with the Learning by Doing Technology, Inc. (LeadTech) and Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU), successfully conducted a SalikLakbay Solutions Mapping at Barangay Manurigao, New Bataan, Davao de Oro last 7-9 November 2021 for the implementation of the community's Agro-Ecology and Renewable Energy R&D Program.

Kicking off the 2021 National Science and Technology Week #2021NSTW of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the DOST’s Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) presents a virtual tour that showcases the DOST-PHIVOLCS headquarters in Quezon City from its exterior façade and aerial view to its lobby exhibit area and data receiving center for both earthquake, tsunami and volcano monitoring.

The improved processing of ginisang burong dalag [sauteed fermented mud fish] now has 24-26% less salt content and it is more delicious, nutritious, and has a pleasant odor than what was normally manufactured. It also has passed the 365 days shelf-life test.
