As part of the annual celebration of National Science and Technology Week hosted by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the DOST- Science and Technology Information Institute (STII) will hold the Science Journalism Writeshop on July 28 at the STII Mini Theater at DOST Complex, Bicutan, Taguig City.
The seminar is designed to train and impart knowledge to future science journalists, enhancing their awareness in and appreciation of science communication and journalism, and the importance of science to social and economic development

For this year, NSTW will be celebrated simultaneously in all regional offices of Department of Science and Technology (DOST) aside from the four major science hubs in Bicutan, Taguig, Quezon City, Manila, and Los Baños, Laguna.
