Poultry information network online
A one-stop shop of information on the poultry commodity is already online. This is called Poultry Information Network or PIN, which can be accessed through the website of the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Resources Research and Development at www.pcarrd.dost.gov.ph
Through PIN, stakeholders of the Philippine poultry industry can now easily access updated and relevant information about the industry, specifically on chicken and duck, in just one website.
PIN was developed through a series of consultation meetings with various stakeholders of the industry, and complements PCARRD's information and communications technology program. PIN also aims to disseminate information on research and development in the poultry sub-sector.
PIN was launched during PCARRD's 31st anniversary celebration.
